Outpatient Therapist
Full Time Position. Provide psychotherapy/counseling services to clients and significant others through individual, group, and/or family methods according to current professional standards of care. Review and update ISP’s, progress and diagnoses on a scheduled basis to insure continued provision of proper and necessary services, and modify the plan of treatment when appropriate. The
position is primarily responsible for the provision of direct client care services and some community services. This person serves as a “generalist” and provides a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services to a varied client population including adults and children with severe mental disabilities, based upon agency need. Must be licensed as an LPC/LPCC or LSW/LISW or must have completed class course work and passed examinations for LPC. Prior mental health counseling experience is desired. Full Time, 40 hours per week. Responsible for planning, coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of the program. Meets with clients, Recruits and trains volunteers. Educates physicians, hospitals and the community about the MAP program. Must be able to work effectively with the public. Bachelor’s degree or related experience required. Customer service experience either through employment or volunteer service desired. Ability and resources to travel and attend meetings needed. Familiarity with Medicare and insurance preferred. Experience with geriatric population a plus. Must have current Ohio Driver’s license and be able to be covered under the agency’s auto insurance. Background check required.
Visitation Monitor
Place of Peace
Part-Time, up to 20 hours per week. Requires weekday and weekend hours. Responsible for providing assistance with safe exchange and supervised visits for families utilizing Place of Peace. Provide assistance to custodial and non-custodial parents in experiencing a positive, safe environment to conduct scheduled visits. Provide assistance for the safe exchange of children from the custodial parent to the non-custodial parent for scheduled/court ordered overnight and weekend visits, as well as safe return exchanges. Ensure trusting relationships are established with the program and participants, and ensure that supervision of staff and families during the visits is available. Assist with the scheduling of initial visits/exchanges and assure contact with the various families. Provide written documentation of events occurring during the visit. Ensure the enforcement of program rules as well as maintain confidentiality. Attend required trainings as well as agency and team meetings as requested.
Staff Therapist/Safer Solutions Coordinator
Counseling Department
Full time. Provide high quality direct service specifically in the Solutions programs, and other service, programming, and education as necessary. Facilitate intakes, midway and exit interviews. Program coordination with referral sources and staff. Develop and implement new programming. Accurate record keeping following PQI standards. Involvement in PQI process, assessment, diagnosis and treatment for all clients following licensure standards. Attend staff and clinical meetings. Provide outreach to and coordinate program services with healthcare providers, social services, and legal services as needed. Complete required reports according to program and agency reporting requirements in a timely manner. Ensure program goal achievement and assist in creating and maintaining a positive program image in the community. Develop and maintain ongoing collaboration with partner agencies. Represent agency on service provider networks, coordinating bodies, and in the general community. Graduate degree in counseling or other related field. Appropriate licensure in the State of Ohio : LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, Psychologist. Specific training and experience in group therapy. Knowledge of family, community and human service issues, organizational functioning, and operations. Must have valid Ohio driver’s license and insurance and be insurable under FCS policy requirements. Must successfully pass criminal background check.
Domestic Violence Specialist
Safer Futures
Part Time, 24.75 hours per week. Work in a 24 hour shelter facility with direct client contact. Answer support line, and admit new clients into shelter. No experience required. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. This job requires knowledge of the importance of empowerment, and an understanding of domestic violence in the family and larger society. Must display a caring, compassionate attitude. Need to have a good driving record and be eligible to be covered under the agency’s auto insurance. Must successfully complete a criminal background check.
